A friendly and comfortable bed and breakfast (B&B) close to Mirandol, Cordes and Albi in the Tarn, South West France.
Paul and Christine Wilson welcome you to La Grange. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, it is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful region or, alternatively, a restful place to stop on your drive to the Mediterranean or Spain.
The property is a converted barn set in a large garden, complete with sun terrace overlooking open fields. There are three double-bedded ensuite rooms which open onto a spacious and well appointed lounge where you can relax with a tea or coffee.
Three and a half kilometres away is the village of Mirandol, where there is a bar, restaurant, pharmacy, mini-market, medical centre, bank ATM and petrol station.
A short picturesque drive will take you to the famous bastide town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, where there is a medieval festival held every summer, and St Antonin-Noble-Val with its famous Sunday market and where canoes can be hired for a leisurely paddle down the River Aveyron.
This is an area noted for cycling and walking, and is the heartland of French rugby. Tarn teams include Albi and Castres both of which are within easy driving distance, while a little further away is probably France's greatest team, Toulouse.
